Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park (Travel time: ~5 hours)
Start your adventure with an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe or upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, where you’ll meet your safari guide for a short briefing. Embark on a scenic drive through Uganda’s lush green countryside towards Kibale Forest National Park. As you journey through the picturesque landscapes, you’ll be treated to sights of vibrant local villages and the diverse wildlife that calls this region home. Upon arrival, you will be immersed in a world teeming with wildlife, including the Red-Tailed Monkey, Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus, and Blue Monkeys. Bird enthusiasts may also spot the beautiful Great Blue Turaco, and with some luck, a herd of Forest Elephants.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience at Kibale National Park
Rise early for breakfast at 6:30 am, grab your picnic lunch boxes, and drive to the park’s tourism headquarters at Kanyanchu Visitor’s Center. Here, you’ll meet the ranger guides and researchers who will accompany you on the chimpanzee habituation experience. This immersive adventure allows you to spend 4 hour’s in the forest, observing the chimpanzees and learning about their behaviors and reactions to human presence. The knowledgeable guides and researchers will provide fascinating insights into the habituation process, offering a deeper understanding of these incredible primates.
Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to see other primate species and various bird species as you navigate the lush forest. By afternoon, you’ll return from the jungle and drive to your lodge for refreshment, relaxation, later dinner, and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s incredible experiences.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure

Upon reaching Entebbe in the afternoon, depending on your flight schedule, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your evening flight home, concluding your memorable Ugandan safari adventure.
