Chimpanzee Trekking Sessions:

• Early Morning Trekking (8 am – Mid-day): Begin your adventure at 8 am, exploring the forest until mid-day. You’ll be granted one hour with the chimpanzees upon locating them.
• Afternoon Trekking (2 pm – 4 pm): Opt for an afternoon trek starting at 2 pm, lasting 2-4 hours. Enjoy a precious hour with the chimps, observing their activities in the afternoon light.
• Chimpanzee Habituation (CHEX): Immerse yourself in the four hour Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (CHEX) from 7 am to 10 am. Witness de-nesting rituals in the morning and observe the chimpanzee for the period of 4 hours. Customize your trekking duration based on your satisfaction.

Cost of Permits:

• Chimpanzee Tracking: USD $250 per person for non-foreign residents, and 180,000 Uganda shillings for East African residents.
• Chimpanzee Habituation Tracking (CHEX): USD $300 for both low and high seasons, and 250,000 Uganda shillings for East African residents.
